Why coaches ask questions?
By asking set of questions, coaches will be able to explore and understand what the coachee is thinking as well as the interpretation of the given situation... Known as 'asking questions in the eyes!'
Questions provide the opportunity for coaches to clarify the coachee's thinking and feelings. Questions also help the coachee to listen to their own responses and decisions - whether they sound logical or not.
However, SILENCE in between the questions is a powerful act to encourage reflection. Encourage the coachee to think and reflect. A room to develop insights about themselves...
