think or do differently?

What would you do differently? Would you think differently?

Those are the 'common' questions, if we were asked to think 'outside the box'. Sounds familiar? What exactly those questions mean to the strategic thinkers? In coaching, those are 'miracle questions'.

Those questions can not be answered without a partial experience of solution. Each question is therefore not a question in the normal sense of the word, but a trace induction into a particular state - the solution state!

While answers to miracle questions reflect content-related information, they point towards a fundamental change. The miracle does not exist on the same level as the problem and the goal. A goal is often described as a kind of 'opposite to the problem'.

The relationship between problem and the goal is like 'negative' and the 'print of a photo' - one can be derived from the other. This is not true of the miracle!

The problem and the miracle exist independently of each other. After the miracle occurs, it is not that "something" is different, but that "EVERYTHING" is different - the world is perceived in a new way. The world of happy man is different from that of the unhappy man...
