CHANGE formula...

In change management process, the only constant is (the word) CHANGE!... Let's now consider its relationship in coaching.

Coaching is about formulating change - the desired goal, either personal or organizational. And CHANGE should be effectively managed.

How? One of the approach is by 'get to know' the key components that constitute in it.

Mathematically, can be presented as:

C = [(D.V.f)] > R


C = the desired CHANGE;

D = Dissatisfaction (that will lead to fulfill the need);

V = Vision (strategy to accomplish the goal);

f = first STEP (in initiating the change); and

R = RESISTANCE (or RISKS that should be anticipated).

Simply, CHANGE will happen if the product of (D.V.f), i.e. the self-driven aspiration is GREATER than RESISTANCE.

And the main source to Resistance is PEOPLE. Such a resistance should be TRANSFORMED into PRODUCTIVE energy. How?
